Fees and Policies

Booking

Appointments are booked using JaneApp. You may select the “Book Now” button on our website, email info@shoreacrestherapy.ca to book, or call 289-828-5361 for any inquiries.

Virtual Therapy

We use JaneApp to conduct our sessions, which is an encrypted and secure therapy platform for video sessions. You will require a wireless internet connection, access to a laptop, and a private space for your appointment. Sessions can also be conducted by telephone if preferred.

Insurance

Many extended healthcare plans offer partial or full coverage for seeing a Clinical Psychologist or Registered Psychotherapist. It is recommended you get in touch with your insurance provider to confirm the amount of coverage before attending your first appointment. We do not offer direct billing to insurance carriers. However, a detailed receipt will be provided to you for each appointment attended.

Fees

Online Therapy Fees: Our clinicians’ fees vary based on educational background and experience. Fees are based on a 50-minute treatment appointment:

Clinical Psychologist: $250

Registered Psychotherapist: $170 + HST

Assessment: Please email info@shoreacrestherapy.ca to confirm the cost for assessments as these can vary widely depending on the referral question and testing required.

Report/Letter Writing: Report and letter writing, completion of academic or work accommodation forms, etc., are billed at the hourly therapy rate (pro-rateable).

Payment for appointments is due at the end of each session and can be made by Debit, Visa, Mastercard, or e-transfer.

Cancellation Policy

We require 24 hours (1 business day) for cancelling an appointment. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, as well as missed sessions, are billed at the full rate.
